Can SEO Companies Build Natural Links For You? |
|
I was searching and exploring different SEO services on the web and one sentence was particularly noticeable on many different SEO websites.
The sentence which grabbed my attention was: We provide absolutely natural link building at very affordable prices! Reading this sentence amused me. It even made me laugh. It made me think Isnt this SEO company wrongly categorizing paid links as natural links and misguiding the customer? Just to keep things in perspective, the definition of natural links is: A natural link is a link to a website or webpage that was freely given, that is, a user linked to it because he found it useful and relevant, without intervention or coercion from the owner of the website. Natural links are often the result of having good, relevant, accurate content. Now, just because you know that SEO companies are paid to do link building, you can easily believe that natural links are really hard to build by such companies. Ironically, a lot of customers still do not understand that SEO companies cannot build natural links for you, simply because natural links are implied to be built by a normal end-user. I guess the word `natural` instills a sense of trust and commitment in the mind of the customers. But the fact remains that 90% of the total links built over the web are un-natural links, put up for the sole purpose of gaining SERPS and rankings. So if any SEO company suggests that they will build 100% natural links for you, be wary of them. Natural links can only be built if your website is unique and authoritative, or if you rank in the first 3 places for your keyword in the search engines. Natural links are ones built by people who have no incentive to link to you other than the fact that your resource is useful. Un-natural link building is not bad, unless you go overboard with it. There are many people out there who are using paid links in order to rank high and get more traffic.
