 Why are researchers needed?
Much of the information that we gather for our screening reports is gathered electronically, through computer networks. However, there are still some records that are not available on the computer. In fact, there are some counties that still have all of their records only on paper. In order to retrieve a copy of these records, we rely on our network of researchers.
What does a researcher do?
When we need records that are only available on paper, we contact a researcher in that area. The researcher will then go to the courthouse, or wherever the requested records are stored, and show them thier credentials to receive a copy of the records. The researcher then sends the records to National Search & Discovery.
