Please don't get me wrong, I am by far a woman who feels woman should be treated equal. My deal is being respected. I don't get that at my job.
In my opinion, I have the potential to be someone, but at my current job it is very outspoken that women do not get far. Sure I could go somewhere else, but these days if you do not have a Bachelors degree or some type of specialty or connections, than you get stuck in my position or you end up at a grocery store, retail store or a restaurant. This is why I want to go back to school and get my bachelors degree.
So to the original reason I am here. Like I said I am new to all of this, but I have found a few ideas that may be able to help the average joe or may I say jenny or wahm :-) I do not currently do them, but I have looked into it in the past but, just havent fully gotten around to it.
1) Royalty Free Stock Images: Google "royalty free stock images" and you get tons of responses. If you go to one of the websites, chances are you will arrive at a website where you find tons of images and you realize people, like you are posting these images. Basically the advantages to Royalty Free Stock images, is to provide entrepreneurs, website designers and so on and so forth images they can work with, rather than have to design and develop themselves.
You could photograph your family, children, objects and whatever your mind creates or you can design something on photoshop or clip art, such as a banner, background or frame. You need to read the specifications required to post your images, but you can make extra money having fun!
2) I have been doing the "paid to read your email" for a few years now. It works, but don't expect to earn anything fast unless you sign up for the offers, but you are not obligated to. I also would suggest using a email account opposite to your normal one so you don't get spammed.

3) Open your own business.
Brainstorm about what type of business.
--It could be a business related to children. Lets say you decide you want to open up your own children's boutique online.
--You will need a state sales and use id number, which is really easy to get. Just search for your local governor's or revenue office online. Most let you apply online for it. I had to pay a mininum monthly fee for this though, so just double check if my sales were not enough.
This is a must though if you want a legit business that actually gets the original wholesale price on items you will be selling. Those companies who offer to dropship for you, but do not request a sales and use id are middle men. Don't listen to what they say if they state they are the original dealers of the material!
---After getting your sales and use id, you have two options. You can carry the products yourself, by purchasing straight from the manufacturer or a dealer, which generally have mininums ranging from $75 - $500, or you can search a company who will dropship the item for you directly to the customer for a nominal fee. Remember dropshipping is awesome because you wait until you have the money to order the item, so you are never actually out any money, but it can get a bit dizzy relying on others, calculating shipping, determining sizing, answer questions for the customers, and much much more. So there are positives and negatives on either end but either which way like I said you will need a sales and use tax id. Most legitimate companies request this before they will even give you a wholesale price list.
--- Last but not least, you can offer these products to sale to friends, etc... or online. If you do it online I would suggest trying to design the website on your own unless you want to scoop up a thousand or more dollars. You just aren't out as much money if you do it on your own. Try Yahoo Merchant Solutions, Citymax is good and cheap, homestead, angelfire, etc.... Decide if you want to accept credit cards or just do paypal.
I suggest paypal and maybe down the road a merchant account with Visa and Mastercard. These are what you see is what you get websites. It takes time... alot depending on you personally. It took me a very long time until I decided I wanted to go back to school.

Free - Search for products you want to carry
Free (I would say 99% of the time) - to apply to become a carrier of a product line... just search websites and find products you like then try to find the manufacturers website and search for wholesale, become a retailer, etc...
$75-$500 - per manufacturer, if they do not offer dropshipping, per product order. So say a manufacturer will allow you to buy products at wholesale, which is typically at 50% off. You have to buy a total of a mininum of $75-$500 worth of products from them in that order to get the price at %50 off. Most times there is no mininum re-order so it is just that inital investment and then reorder at your pleasure.
FREE or it's up to you - If you decide to make your own products.
Varies, but it could be a few dollars to a few hundred for your website.
I would just hunt around for the website offer you like the most based off of your preferences.
Like I said I am totally new besides knowing those things to working from home. I am just trying to save others looking into to doing this, time and heartache because there are so many people out there that rip others off its ridiculous and I don't see how they sleep at night.
