InDesigns is currently looking for an experienced, smart, energetic person to become a member of our production team as an Electronic Designer. The successful applicant will be responsible for working closely with project managers and our web programmers to ensure that the design needs of each client are promptly met. The position requires the Digital Designer to occasionally manage the entire design process from websites, online interactive user interfaces, PDFs, electronic print design, documentation and debugging. To be successful in this position, you must have participated in the complete design of innovative websites and have experience with web graphics and traditional print software, and the manipulation of digital images specifically for the electronic environment. This position gives you the flexibility to work at home to suit your lifestyle. We are looking for a person on a contract basis to help us with the exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

* Create interactive user interfaces, motion graphic and/or interactive marketing using web graphic software and web technologies
* Create electronic stationary using desktop graphic software
* Implement user interfaces for web applications using dynamic scripting and graphic production tools
* Knowledge with dynamic web applications
* Work closely with project management and web programmers through full life-cycle of projects
* Provide technical support by identifying and resolving website related problems, and supporting web applications
* Support application and website users by developing easy to understand documentation and user assistance tools

Requirements:

* A Must. Love to design! Experience in design and layout different medias such as websites, rich interactive content.
* A Must. Experience working with pre-built web applications and changing code.
* Must have experience creating interactive user interfaces and electronic print templates.
* Must have experience with interactive media such as Flash and Breeze to design and script.
* Must have knowledge working with and developing minor scripts.
* Experience working with web programmers.
* Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Post-secondary diploma or degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to deal with others effectively
* 2-3 years recent related experience in a internet environment and seeking a fast paced, deadline driven, challenging environment
* Must have a high-end computer, high-speed internet connection, webcam, headset and all the necessary software
* Ability to learn new languages and software

Technical Skills:

* Web Programming: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, dHTML, Flash/actionScripting
* Database Programming: PHP, MySQL
* Graphic Software: Photoshop, Acrobat, Fireworks, Illustrator, ImageReady
* Web Editor Software: Dreamweaver, Flash/actionScripting
* Interactive Software: Flash/actionScripting, Breeze
* General: Email, Researching Online, Instant Messaging, Word
