I found a site that says you can do this, get your own website, etc. and make money? Is this a scam? Does anyone else do this successfully? Thank you!

I don't know if I can find it again. I think it was something like coastal vacations, but that wasn't the URL. If I come across it again I'll post it. Thanks!

Hi everybody! I'm new I have some info to share and I am also asking for some info. Firstly, what I need is someone who can let me know of a legitimate online business. Secondly, I have researched many online/work from home business's and would like to share this with you. Any mlm is a scam! whoa, well my husband was in Amway for about nine years and sucked in by the dream they were selling. Any mlm will make the inventors of the business wealthier and the people at the bottom of the ladder spend hours and hours going to meetings and spend money on products, ebooks etc. to make little or no money. Maleuluca, herbalife, or any mlm forget it, you'll never make money at them. You may wonder why I mentioned these ones because they don't seem like home based business's, they are all touted" online, make money for home" etc. if you search online and read about the philosophy and break down of how mlm's work and how they make the top guys richer with the bottom ones support , you will avoid spending alot of time and money on these. Stuffing envelopes, forget it just go to a search engine and put in any one of these options and you will find the real truth about them, I am being rather general because the info I have gathered is too lengthy and some of it so convoluted that I cannot even tell you because there are so many I have looked at and the details are too many. Coastal vacations wants you to sell discount coupons packages, to friends family whoever. You are not actually selling vacations as they would have you believe, but coupons with supposed discounts, The coupons are very many and very confusing. Like 20% of at these chain of hotels on these dates etc. I was on a conferance call for over an hour with one of the guys who was trying to sell me a package and his upline. you also have to re-new your membership with them every year, thats pay money! and you have to give your commission from your first 2 sales to your upline. beware, they are under many different names! Many people want to sell you e-books that give you outdated info on many different ways to have "multiple streams of income" they give you outdated, again, convoluted ways to make money. These would take so many hours to do this it is not worth it. some offer free dvd etc but you have to sign up friends and they have to except the offer to sign up but usually you have to purchase something or get a free subscription and if you don't cancel it you get billed on your credit card because you get bet they take your credit info before hand. Very confusing huh? Secret shoppers bid on the jobs then run all over town spending thier own money of the service they are spying on then get re-embursed plus a small honourarium. Why mention that you ask? because these are touted as work at home oppurtunities. They come under many disguises and many different names. Paid surveys, I went to a site that said something like "legitimate paid surveys "and signed up with about 8 different companies. You never hear form most of them befor you can actually take the survey, there is a screening process. This is a survey where they are getting lots of free info from you anyway, then at the end of filling it out it says " sorry you do not qualify for this survey" And the ones that do say they pay, it's usally points that convert to $. I think I have earned about 3 dollars from this one company doing 2 surveys which took about 20 minutes each. That's $3 bucks for 40 minutes work! I haven't checked my paypal account to see if any money is actually in there. They don't pay out until you have about 25 bucks in there anyway. There are more I have reseached but cannot think of them right now, I will write them on here when I come across them or remember more of the crazy so called work at home oppurtunities. I don't want to bash any company in particular, just tell you the facts, but "BUYER BEWARE!!! when you are reading those great ads because when you read through the policies and research them on-line you will find that most of them are just selling their idea with no real product and it will cost you a bunch of money to start up selling an idea. P.S. Another one I just thought of is you know all these free websites that these different comapnies are offering, they don't tell you that you have to pay a monthly fee for web hosting! and with coastal and other ones like that you have to Pay for your leads. Just be really careful because most of them are scams. If anyone knows of a legitimate online job that I can actually make money at Please let me know. Thanks for reading, hope it was helpful. cheers.
